About
ZMOWERY Architecture is a full service design firm specializing in mixed use commercial, office, hospitality, multi-family, and ranch design.
We leverage the latest design technologies to rapidly test ideas and confirm assumptions.
We thrive on complexity and are informed by a fusion of data, experience, and creativity to help our clients navigate uncertainty.
Process
Our design process begins with listening to our clients in order to learn about their needs and how we can help them. We collaborate with clients to produce unique works of architecture that are specific to their place and timeless in expression.
Site Specific
Meaningful architecture is designed in a way that makes sense for the exact place it is located. We call this Site Specific Design. We take cues from the surrounding environment whether that means adapting to an urban context or drawing from the contours of a vast, open landscape.
Expressing Culture
Architecture is more than just a sturdy structure to protect us from the elements. At it’s best, it is an expression of shared values and an outflow of the collective identity of a community or organization. The buildings we inhabit dynamically shape who we are and how we think of ourselves. ZMOWERY takes great care to understand and instill our client’s values into the fiber of the architecture we design. You have a story to tell and nothing conveys that story more visibly than well crafted architecture.
Values
Leadership
Zac Mowery is founder and Principal of ZMOWERY Architecture. Prior to forming ZMOWERY, he gained experience working with multiple international, award-winning architecture firms. Throughout his career, Zac has been involved in the design and construction of commercial projects, mixed-use developments, and master planning efforts for projects of all scales both in the United States and abroad. Recently, he was responsible for the successful completion of The Stack Deep Ellum, a 200,000 SF creative office concept in the cultural heart of Dallas, TX. His philosophy is rooted in the belief that good design establishes a sense of place, reflects the identity of the community, and responsibly stewards resources.
